No matter which sport or at what you level you play, you want to be your best when stepping onto the field or court. For club players, members of school teams, college and professional ranks, most athletes know that the challenge of competition begins by practicing the physical and technical skills for your sport. But few are aware that the psychological aspects of athletics are also key to optimal performance as well as promoting personal satisfaction with competing.  Many athletes experience anxiety and muscle tension before or during competition that negatively affects their performance. Performing at a high level of proficiency calls for careful preparation, deliberate practice, focused attention to detail and use of specific techniques to optimize performance. These skills, tools and strategies are now available for anyone willing to learn and practice these simple techniques. This program is available through Peak Performance Systems and is delivered in person at our San Francisco office or through materials to be offered online.
